Add Your Small Biz Map Location to your site (fast tip)

This site, WikiMapia, is a neat instant mapping tool for your small business web site. Here’s how you can map your location (1)for everyone else to see and (2)for adding a spot on the map —yes, that spot where you do business— to your web site in no time:

1. browse here: http://wikimapia.org

2. find yourself on the world map

3. zoom in as close as you see fit

4. on top-right menu, mouse over WikiMapia, select from drop down the item ‘Add New Place’

5. resize the square to cover the area you want, click once inside the square

6. do the code insert to certify you’re a human

7. create/edit your small business location ‘title’ and ‘description’ — don’t forget to place a phone number, email or web site URL while keeping all text length and content within decency limits

8. save, you’re done, almost…

9. go back to the top-right menu, select WikiMapia, drop down ‘Map on your Page’

10. copy the iframe code tags to a file on your computer, save and insert the code back somewhere on your web site or blog, where you see fit.

Now you’re definitely done. Have a look:
